Restart a Heart Day: NSW Ambulance GoodSAM team in action at Parramatta Farmers Market

On Wednesday, 16 October, the NSW Ambulance GoodSAM team will be at Parramatta Farmers Market for Restart a Heart Day. 

Trained paramedics and the Ambulance mascot, Bearamedic, will offer free CPR demonstrations and encourage marketgoers to sign up for the GoodSAM app. 

GoodSAM connects volunteers with patients in the critical moments of a cardiac arrest, before paramedics arrive. If you're over 18 and willing and able to perform CPR, register to help save lives in your community.

ACT Ambulance Service

• ACT Ambulance Service: 16th October 10am – 2pm Garema Place, Canberra City

ACT Ambulance Service will be in the heart of Canberra teaching community members how to Restart a Heart.

Members of the community will have the opportunity to learn CPR and how to use an AED, meet trained paramedics and our mascot Kirby the Kangaroo.

CPR in many cases can be the difference between life and death, so we hope to see as many people in the city as possible doing their part to learn how to Restart a Heart.
