St John WA
Wednesday, October 12 2022
5:30 – 7:30pm
The Goods Shed: 4 Shenton Road, Claremont, WA, 6010
St John is delighted to invite the West Australian business community to come together and help us build a stronger and more resilient WA.
As you read this today, three people in Western Australia will suffer a cardiac arrest.
And it will continue to happen every day.
The chance of survival is low.
In fact, only one in nine people who suffer a cardiac arrest will survive.
It does not discriminate, and can strike anyone regardless of age, gender, or health status.
We are losing our loved ones. But we can do something about it.
Every minute that passes without treatment decreases a victim’s chance of survival by 10%.
When a defibrillator is used before paramedics arrive, survival can reach as high as 70%.
We simply need more of these life-saving devices in the community.
Please join our mission to save lives across WA, together.
Drinks and nibbles included
Join us on Wednesday, October 12 to hear the inspiring survival story of Mark Donovan.
For Mark, bystanders who were prepared to act and a nearby defibrillator saved his life.
But not everyone is this lucky.
We are working towards increasing the awareness of these life-saving devices and we would love you to be a part of this evening.
The evening will also present you the opportunity to partner with us to provide life-saving tools across WA.
RSVP Wednesday, 28 September 2022 with any dietary requirements.
We look forward to seeing you on the night!
